Understanding how to use the Categories Manager in Console Gateway Live will allow you to generate better reports, managing your clients and work more efficiently. The Categories Manger is found under the tools menu. It enables you to control categories and look up fields for all files such as;

A user with permission to customise the database as part of their log in profile, may edit the master categories or look up fields from within a file. Or may edit all categories by selecting
1. Tools
2. Categories Manager
3. Expand out columns of the left hand side
4. Add, Edit, Delete or select Reset to customise this area.
5. Click ok to return back to the main menu at anytime
